OUR STORY

Co-founders, Elijah and Elisha, started Lynx Survivalist in response to growing social and political trends in the US and to people around the world.

As twin brothers, we have lived half-a-world apart from each other for much of our adult years. When we were reunited, we realized we each had survival stories of our own.

Elijah operated and managed an herb shop for several years acquiring extensive knowledge in herbology, iridology, and Eastern medicinal techniques. He is also a certified mortician and was recruited by UNESCO to conduct burial rites and procedures in Indonesia following the massive tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of people throughout the archipelago.

He decided to live in Southeast Asia for twelve years learning various languages and building a unique survival skill set among the Java, Betawi, Timorese, and Papuan people groups of Indonesia and the Malay of Malaysia. His survival expertise includes herbology, foraging, archery, hunting, orienteering, iridology, surgical procedures, international burial rites, and linguistics.

Elisha has spent his life following after the footsteps of his father who retired as an NYPD homicide detective. Elisha has spent a large portion of his life studying martial arts, particularly taekwondo. He has had a lengthy career in law enforcement and has observed a significant decline in society.

His knowledge base in law enforcement stems from his experience as a youth counselor, armed security guard, personal bodyguard, loss prevention officer, and Correction Officer II. His survival expertise includes self-defense, marksmanship, rifling, gunsmithing, negotiation and counseling, bartering, topographical mapping, and urban warfare tactics.

SURVIVALISM: READINESS & PREPAREDNESS

Across the United States, ordinary Americans are sacrificing their time, talent, and treasury to prepare themselves for the unexpected; whether it is an economic collapse, a pandemic, a civil war, a meteorological or astronomical disaster, or a cataclysmic event; sensing that the end of the world, as we know it, may be approaching sooner than expected.

Conversely to popular opinion, our perspective on survivalism is about being prepared to survive everyday emergencies as well as complicated dilemmas.

Our philosophy regarding preparedness includes self-sufficiency. We choose not to be reliant on local or national government institutions, corporate-owned utility companies, cell phone signals, supermarkets, or any other third-party entity for intervention or rescue.
